Need Help Training?
Mount Vernon Baptist Church has a health ministry. We meet twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) from 5:30 to 6:30 and run, jog, walk, lift weights, do stretching exercises all to not only keep our bodies healthy but to train for upcoming 5k runs. We meet at our church and weather permitting, we run/walk around our church or go inside to our Family Life Center.

The first annual Sand Mountain Century & Smiles for Cystic
Fibrosis event will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2010 during the biggest festival in Boaz, Alabama, the Boaz Harvest Festival. |

Bike Ride begins at the Boaz Recreation Center at 314 N King Street & will provide an opportunity to ride 25, 62 or 100 miles through north Alabama rolling hills & Lake Guntersville. |

5k Walk – Fun Run begins on Snead State Community College campus at Plunkett Wallace Gymnasium on Mann Avenue & weaves throughout the college campus, providing a scenic route in a quaint neighborhood. |
